About me

I have been thinking of starting this blog for a while. But I was always so uncertain of whether I will get accepted to a decent university in the USA and if I will in fact, be off to a land far far away. But now, I am fairly certain. I have gotten into a college and although I am yet to hear from the rest..I am certain that i will be going for sure. Phew.

Here I am.

A 22 year old from India, who always thought that the NRI(Non Resident Indians) are a strange breed who are deluded pompous freaks. But that changed one day when I realised that my advertising job was, only well advertised and pretty much sucked as a product. Which is when I decided to quit and study further. But since nothing in India caught my fancy I decided to venture abroad.

And to me this is a very big deal. It is life altering and God, am I loving every bit of it. I would therefore like to chronicle every little thing about this journey for my own sake, more than that of the readers.

So here, you may find absolutely anything. Right from what I am buying to what I am trashing, from what I have planned, to what plans of mine have gone astray.

I caution you, some of it may be very very random. Like what piece of clothing have caught my fancy to why I think beer and eggs are good for my hair. But I will still like to write about all this because two years from now I will like to look at this blog and see for myself what I will have become. I hope this also helps me stay the same, even as I gain new experiences in my fancy new environment.

P.S.: I begin my post-graduate degree in Fall 2010.
